D. Babayan: security of Artsakh and Armenia is a united system

 “The fact that Karabakh is noted in the statement makes it very important. 5. Gain whole-club unity

It’s not that I have no ideas, and I have a few that I WILL be implementing at the meeting, but I figured if anyone else has any ideas for what worked really well in regards to activities or whatever that help to open people’s eyes, please let me know

My sorority had a ton of drama for around a year and a half, we were all women so you might have to tweek things to keep the guys interested. Keep in mind men and women communicate differently and adjust accordingly.

Don’t try to fix this all in one meeting, the drama didnt come up overnight it won’t go away like that.

Get some good people behind you. Talk to your adviser and the rest of your executive board about how to handle the issues.

Straighten out things that are easy to fix first. Get people to pay dues, show up to meetings whatever you need. Make consequences clear first. You might piss some people off and they may quit but it will be better for the group as a whole.

Have an airing of grievances. Get everyone together. Have a physical object that designates who can talk. It sounds stupid but the visual aid helps some people let other people talk. The big thing is to get everyone to talk to each other and keep order. Pass it around as many times as it needs to.

Collectively articulate group goals and set up a plan to reach them. I’ve found keeping this simple is key. Keep the goals attainable and if you can’t say how to achieve it, its not a good goal. Keep everyone focused on reaching them.

Force interaction with people outside the clique, Assign projects or activities and mix everyone up. It will start off forced but will be easier the more and more you do it. How feasible this is depends on your size. 20+ people are always going to have subgroups.
